The City of White Plains is seeking $885,456.50 in funding to implement the Downtown Mamaroneck Avenue Improvement Project, a roadway safety initiative identified in the City’s Vision Zero Action Plan (VZAP). The project will redesign key intersections along Mamaroneck Avenue, from Main Street to Maple Avenue, and the installation of crosswalks, a raised median, pedestrian refuge island, and curb extensions. The proposed “Downtown Mamaroneck Avenue Improvement Project” will include a variety of streetscape and revitalization efforts.
