Resources for New Yorkers Affected By Troubling New Trump Administration Policies

A message from Rep. Latimer:

“Thank you for visiting this page, which is dedicated to supporting my constituents in NY-16 during this time of profound uncertainty caused by multiple unprecedented and unconstitutional actions by the Trump Administration.

From across our district, I’m hearing from people—including federal workers throughout the government, federal contractors, educators and school officials, immigrants, members of different racial and ethnic minority groups and the LGBTQ+ community—who are directly harmed and threatened by President Trump’s hasty and dangerous actions. Please know that my team and I are in regular communication not only with constituents but with my House and Senate colleagues, state and local partners, and organizations in the district to work on your behalf and to share as much information as possible. If you have been affected by the Trump Administration's policies, share your story here(link is external)

Below please find a list of resources our team has compiled for you and your family. Please note that under House Ethics guidance, we are only permitted to share information from government sources—not private sector or nonprofit resources even though they also have excellent resources. We will keep this page updated as we learn new information.

As always, if you need help navigating the processes of a federal agency, please don't hesitate to submit a request online for assistance."

~George Latimer
