Rep. Latimer Announces Appropriations Funding Submission Process

February 20, 2025

WASHINGTON, DC – Today U.S. Representative George Latimer (NY-16) announced that his office is now taking programmatic and language requests for the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations process. Local municipalities and eligible non-profit organizations are encouraged to submit.

“As a former county executive, I understand just how vital federal funding is for our communities,” said Rep. Latimer. “Ensuring the appropriate funding levels for federal programs can increase the availability of resources for transportation and water infrastructure projects, healthcare research, early childhood education, and SNAP. I encourage municipalities and non-profits to submit requests through our process and I will do all I can to advocate for them.”

Local governments and eligible non-profits can apply here: https://forms.gle/Ao4n4XqSqSqWo4To7.

A separate process for specified project funding, known as Community Project Funding, will be announced at a later date when eligibility has been established by the House Appropriations Committee’s Republican majority.
